Application Open: 10th January 2019 – closing 31st January 2019.

Who are we: For over 20 years prisons org uk has been the premier publisher of prison-related publications in the UK – our main work The Prisons Handbook (now in its 20th annual edition) is the definitive 1200-page annual guide to the prison system of England and Wales, it is published annually with a foreword by the Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice – we are at the top of our game, and you need to be too.

What are we looking for: The world has changed and hard-copy annual publications now need to be (additionally) online, with daily, weekly or monthly subscription updates, and this is what we want to move to.

The site needs to be capable of updating each day by us, and able to automate subscriptions, billing and access – we have UK merchant based services with Sage UK to process payments.

You: Will be a professional, qualified, web developer, able to supply due diligence references from clients, ideally Thailand (Chiang Mai) based, who can develop an e-commerce site for us where each (or all dependent on subscription) of the eight sections of The Prisons Handbook are accessible by subscription and login.

The site will be updated by us on a daily basis.

We have UK based hosting so are not looking for that, just development of the new site.

Interested? Email your details to directors.office@prisons.org.uk. Our Directors are Thailand (Chiang Mai) based, and you can call for a confidential discussion with our Managing Director Mark (English) on 0894444005, or Oui (Thai) 09 23455677.
